1 Scrambled eggs (prepared per your preferred scrambled egg recipe, slightly underdone)
4 tablespoons (about 25 g) grated mild cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare five slices of milk toast and arrange them in a single layer on a heatproof platter.
2. Prepare scrambled eggs according to your preferred scrambled egg recipe, removing them from the heat when they are still slightly underdone — curds should be just set but still glossy and soft, not fully dried.
3. Pour the underdone scrambled eggs evenly over the arranged toast slices.
4. Sprinkle 4 tablespoons (about 25 g) of grated mild cheese uniformly over the eggs.
5. Place the platter in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 4 to 7 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and the eggs are just cooked through — the surface should be set with no visible liquid, and the cheese should be bubbling lightly at the edges. Remove promptly to avoid overcooking the eggs.
