1 Parsnips (enough to yield 2 cups / about 300 g cooked pieces)
1 Boiling salted water (for cooking)
1 cup (240 ml) Drawn Butter Sauce (see notes)
Instructions
1. Wash and scrape the parsnips. Cut into pieces 2 inches (5 cm) long and 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) wide and thick.
2. Bring a pot of salted water to a full boil. Add the parsnip pieces and cook for 5 minutes, or until tender when pierced with a fork — the pieces should yield without resistance but hold their shape.
3. Drain the parsnips thoroughly.
4. Combine 2 cups (about 300 g) of the drained parsnip pieces with 1 cup (240 ml) of Drawn Butter Sauce. Stir gently to coat and serve immediately while hot.
